Synopsis

Pak is a 70-year old taxi driver living with his wife. Hoi, who is divorced, lives with his son. The two men, who have both lived all their lives without revealing their sexual identity, meet randomly on the streets of Hong Kong and find a place for tender moments of intimacy in a bathhouse. As Pak and Hoi fall in love, they contemplate their potential, but difficult to imagine, future together.

Ray Yeung skilfully addresses the discrimination and isolation faced by people on the margins of traditional family structures. His calm and subtly observant images depict with sensitivity the passionate love that two men feel for each other at the dawn of their old age.
