Growing up in a proletarian environment, Johnny, 10 years old, with the face of a cherub and long blonde hair, is not exactly a boy like the others. This king of the mess, of the resourcefulness falls in love with his new teacher. This desire that runs through him soon takes over and makes him seek an impossible reciprocity in his master. Little Nature is the opposite of Death in Venice, it reverses the point of view of desire, gives voice and flesh to the sexuality of the child and makes him see through his eyes the sexy adult he loves. A fragile film, undoubtedly partly autobiographical, Little Nature describes the break-in of desire, its precise conditions of appearance as well as the sensations and impasses it provokes.
