Thanks to the support of the City of Brussels, the National Lottery and its players, as well as RTBF, Pink Screens annually rewards queer short films across several categories. This year, 4 prizes and 3 mentions were awarded by our three jury panels: the prize and mention for international fiction short film, the prize for animation short film, and the mention for experimental short film and the prize and mention for Belgian short film. A novelty this year is the RTBF Auvio purchase prize which rewards a Belgian queer short film to be available very soon on RTBF Auvio.
For the Pink Screens Awards 2025, we entrusted the creation of the trophies to an artist residing in Brussels. Thanks to the support of the Lottery and its players, we thus encourage artistic creation beyond the sole cinematic discipline.
