Call for applications for the Pink Screens 2023 festival exhibition!

On the occasion of the 22nd edition of the Pink Screens festival which will take place from November 9 to 18, 2023, Genres d'à Côté / Pink Screens Film Festival is organizing an LGBTQIA+ exhibition in the bar at cinema Nova and in the basement exhibition space at cinema Galeries (1000 square meters of exhibition space).

 

Artists, students, professionals, artlovers …  of any horizon, any gender and sexual orientation!

If your artistic approach is set against diverse identities with a touch of impertinence and political engagement, come forth and reveal all your creativity limitless! Send us your CV, website, blog, Facebook page, portfolio and an application letter to : expo@pinkscreens.org, at the latest by 19/06/2023.

 

What are we looking for:

 

- Visual art of any kind (small / medium size) : photos, drawings, paintings, collages, comics, micro-editions, screen prints (serigraphy), videos.

- Performances: teasing and spicy, short, but intense.

The orientation of the choice of the lucky ones will be selected based on the coherence of the whole proposal. All candidates will be considered on equal grounds by our exhibition team, which is made up of artists and cultural professionals. This preselection will then be validated by "Genres d'à Côté asbl". Unfortunately, no substantial funds will be provided, only transport fees for the artworks can be covered.
