Synopsis
A fascinating visual firework, Fig Tress is at the same time a militant homage to the fight against AIDS, a celebration of gay pop culture, a hoodwink at Gertrude Stein and gay composers, all wrapped up in a staggeringly beautiful and playful film with an accompany opera.
