After several years together, Maria and Ana find themselves having to face sudden illness. Maria decides to not follow any treatment, and so they both move to a secluded house in the midst of a forest. The house will be a place for revived intimacy, with the kind of gestures and looks that go beyond words. It will also be the centre of their irrefutable love despite years passed and the looming threat of their separation. Dreams and stories will come alive again within this short period of time. A powerful story about the difficulty of finding the words to express our feelings and about the empowering notion of choosing one's destiny. The film makes several references to the Argentinian poet Alejandra Pizarnik, who passed away at the age of 36.
