Darkroom - Drops of death

In his latest film, the prolific director Rosa von Praunheim, a cult figure of the 1970’s German cinema renewal, takes on a story that a few years ago in Germany shocked public opinion, and particularly the gay community. Lars, a nurse, and Roland, a musician, meet in Sarrebrücken and decide to move to Berlin. They refurbish an apartment and seem to be living the perfect love story. What Roland doesn't know is that at night Lars is secretly visiting cruising areas, meeting lovers and experimenting on them with drugs, with deadly consequences... A reconstruction, both realistic and surreal, of a life shared between crime and passion.
