Synopsis
Nora is found dead in the apartment she shared with her friend Alice. She is tied to the bedposts, half-naked, with scissors plunged into her heart. Alice denies killing her. In prison, she receives a visit from her lawyer with whom she engages in lesbian games... A leading figure of the New Novel, Robbe-Grillet offers with this film new approaches to the arrangement of images and sound, far removed from realistic narrative, while not shying from spicing up the film with an eroticism reminiscent of Sadean literature.
Starring Anicée Alvina, Olga Georges-Picot, and Jean-Louis Trintignant.
