Synopsis
An emperor's son disguises himself as a punk singer to escape his lover, then falls for a nymphomaniac. Sex, drugs, and punk rock are the order of the day in this manifesto in which Almodóvar and his troupe let loose with abandon. Labyrinth of Passion evokes both the early John Waters, with his drag queens and scatological obsessions, and the young Fassbinder, with his cinephilic project of addressing his country's social transformations through the prism of melodrama.
