Synopsis
At twenty, Nino Paradis refuses to believe life is nothing but a string of disappointments, where human relationships boil down to exploitation or competition. He loves Lale fiercely and draws strength from nightlife and partying with his friends because he's certain, at the end of the night, something better awaits them. Laurent Micheli (Lola vers la mer) films with passion the fiery spirit of these youngsters searching for themselves, struggling in a world dominated by consumerism. Nino in Paradise (Nino dans la nuit) brims with intent, adventure, and aesthetic choices. A film brought to life by the energy and chemistry of its young cast (Mara Taquin, Oscar Högström, Théo Augier, Bilal Hassani).
