Synopsis
In the middle of the night, Renuka escapes a Delhi Brothel avec having kniffed a police men. She seeks refuge in a community of sexworkers where she encounters Devika, a young girl condemned to prostitution. Theur bond transforms into a secret romance. Together, they take in a risky journey in the hope to find freedom. Through this a so forbidden love stort, The Shameless (Cannes 2024, Un Certain Regard) gives importance to those crushed by the rigide tradition and hypocrite morale.
