A queer trio roam São Paulo, drained by pandemic and rampant capitalism, remembering their dead loved ones, sharing their experiences with HIV, seeking make-up tips for their faces half-hidden by masks. Eventually they find other social misfits in the living room of a mysterious singer called Mirta to have fun, drink and fuck and put on an old cabaret show. Três tigres tristes is colourful, queer in both content and form, and allows the margins of society forgotten by the pandemic to shine.
