Synopsis
1958, two years after the Hungarian Revolution. A young journalist becomes embroiled in a political conflict with her editor-in-chief… and in a romantic relationship with a married colleague. Risking her life, she fights for press freedom and individual liberties.Far from stereotypes, Károly Makk films this story of female homosexuality under a totalitarian communist regime with precision, restraint, yet also with a contained rage.
