Synopsis

Several women from the same family are confronted with rage to their space of freedom in a patriarchal Bulgarian society. Sonja loses it when she learns she has been infected with HIV. Sister, mother, aunt, all caught up in their individual strategies, from defending a position as a site manager to struggling with postpartum depression or fighting as a lesbian activist or even surrendering to the guidance of the stars, they manage despite the obstacles to forge strong bonds and a sisterhood in the absurdity of life.

An angry and cathartic film by Mina Mileva and Vesela Kazakova, based on a true story. Selected in the section "Un Certain Regard" at the last Cannes Film Festival.
