Beatrice is a mechanic, a rally champion and a transgender. During her transformation process, she meets Marianna, a Romanian woman working at her mother's place. They fall in love, accepting each other's differences and frailties, and decide to get married. The couple raises Marianna's adolescent son, with Beatrice caring about him like any parent would.
