Lily Festival

Seven seventy year old women pass their days peacefully in a japanese retirement home. Then their life is turned upside down by the arrival in their community of Mr. Miyoshi, a 75 year old full of the spirit of Don Juan. Without realising it, he opens a Pandora's Box, his presence is a cataylist for long supressed deires to resurface. This film combats with humor and sensitivity the taboos of age and sexuality, and offers a sweet breath of freedom.
