Call Me Kuchu

Despite the hostile and violent climate pervading in Uganda, David Kato and his peers fight for the rights of the LGBT people. During their struggle against the “anti-homosexuality law” which aims to invoke the death penalty for homosexuality, David is brutally murdered. His death, during the making of this documentary, shatters the lives of his friends and fellow activists. However, regardless of the growing homophobia and the danger incurred, they decide to keep on fighting. Only armed with their courage, humour and great determination, they continue to soldier on. Deeply moving.
