A little girl is confronted with her mother being romantically involved with a woman. The girl reacts in an astounding way.

A lifelong relationship is severely put to the test when sickness occurs.

Maude and Clothilde have been in a relationship for several years. They don't even look at each other any more. From one day to the next, Maude loses her hearing.  Isolated from the world, she tries to get closer to Clothilde who only further avoids her.
