Two boys, one girl. All 3 are in the same high school in Udine in Italy. Lorenzo (who resembles a young Keanu Reeves) has just moved into town. He is gay, exuberant and an excellent student. The very opposite of Antonio, taciturn, sporty, living in the shadow of his dead elder brother. And finally, there is Blu, the rebellious daughter of a well-off couple. They form a cohesive trio facing the hostility of other students. This very pleasant, partly serious, often easygoing, revealing, poetic film, interspersed with several deliciously kitsch musical interludes in the style of a transalpine Jacques Demy, is the first production of the screenwriter of the excellent comedy 'Mine Vaganti' (Loose Cannons) by Ferzan Özpetek.
